As we move towards launching the next version of OttoKeep, one of our major objectives is to improve the scalability of the site. We want our users to feel as if the site will be around for a long time to come. So, by re-writing the OK platform using a PHP framework, it makes it easier to implement new, exciting features that the users will love.

Through long, sleepless nights, we are reaching a good point in the implementation to begin user acceptablity testing and gathering requirements for the next release.

We have begun to re-implement the basic functionality of the site using a framework to speed up development time - allowing other developers to leverage existing functionality in the code. By focusing on the site functions and not on design, we don't get distracted by the pixels and em's.
